What do the WEMC do?

The World Energy and Meteorology Council are an international organisation based at the U.E.A. Their aim is to promote and enhance interaction between the global energy industry and the weather, climate and broader environmental sciences community.

WEMC host the biennial International Conference of Energy and Meteorology (ICEM) – a global event which aims to provide meteorologists and energy industry specialists with a unique platform to share their expertise and ideas. The focus of the event is on collaboration, and the target is a transformed, inclusive energy system.

Aside from this unique event, data-led projects are at the core of WEMC’s work. They are currently working on three projects focussing on how meteorology connects with, and even impacts the climate in different ways. For more information, please visit their projects page.

Christal Seas Scuba have been training divers, and supplying scuba diving and snorkelling equipment, in Norwich for over 20 years.   What started as a hobby grew into a full time passion and career and owners Polly & Chris Wake have dived and worked all over the world.  They now train people to scuba dive and run dive holidays for groups from all over Norfolk from their dive centre in Norwich.   

The dive centre and shop on Whiffler road in Norwich sells the full range of scuba and snorkelling equipment to meet everyone's needs and has its own on-site swimming pool which is available for children's scuba and snorkelling parties as well as scuba diving classes.   The pool is also available for private hire for swimming which is really popular with family or friend groups.

Argents started working with us over 20 years ago, on our 5000 acres of in-hand agricultural land. Our land is spread over 5 units from Kelso to Cambridge and is therefore 5 times more complicated than a ring fence outfit. 20 years ago we had poor systems, poor information and almost no advice being given from our previous London based accountants.
