Financial Audit Services

You are legally obliged to have an audit if your company:

has a turnover greater than £10.2m
has total assets greater than £5.1m
or has more than 50 employees

Even if your company is below these thresholds, an audit may still be required if it is part of an entity that does breach thresholds. Shareholders or the company's articles may also require an audit.

Statutory Auditors

The audit inspects the accounts of a company. As Statutory Auditors Argents Audit Services Limited are licenced to carry out audit work under the Companies Act 2006. The review of financial statements, checks they meet accounting standards and company law. A sample of transactions and balances will tested to identify any material misstatements.

Once we complete the audit, a standard report is provided, included with the financial statements. The audit will conclude whether the financial statements have been prepared properly in accordance with accounting standards, whether they show a fair and true view and highlight weaknesses in internal controls. The end result: you not only meet your reporting obligations but could increase your business performance.
