...where we exchange
It is a secure area where you can work with us more closely and efficiently. It includes an area for you to upload files to us, and for us to send you files and documents. There is a messaging facility built in too, enabling us to communicate about those documents and files in context.
Where there are documents needing your approval, we can use the Client Portal to upload the documents for you to review, wherever you are in the world, and to approve those documents electronically, improving efficiency and turnaround times.
When we first enable your client portal, you will receive an email from email@example.com inviting you to activate your client portal. Please do not respond to the email as it is not monitored.
Instead, please click the activation link within the email, this will take you to an activation page for your oneclick portal account.
When clicking the link it will also send you an activation ID code to your mobile phone, for you to enter as authentication, after which you will be able to set your own password. Along with some security questions so that you can reset your password if you ever need to.
While we have set the minimum security requirements in terms of length and complexity of passwords, you can make yours as complex as you deem appropriate. No record of your password will be held by us. As with all passwords, do not tell anyone or write it down, to protect the security of your portal. You will need your password to login to your account and to approve documents.
We use Microsoft Azure cloud services to host our OneClick platform. All data is stored in Microsoft UK Data Centres (UK South, UK West).
HTTPS is used to provide encrypted communication between customer devices and OneClick.
Communications between OneClick and Third Party services, e.g. HMRC, Twinfield, Xero and Sage also use HTTPS to provide security of data in transit.
Encryption at rest is enabled for all Microsoft products that support it. Within OneClick each customer has their own encrypted Azure SQL database. All files sent in messages are encrypted at rest. Open Integration stores data in Azure blob storage which is also encrypted.
